Vehicle Description
In 1954 Chevrolet built 3,640 Corvettes; 3,230 were built in Polo
White with red interior. This car still retains its original body
and paint; however, the red interior is new and the dash has been
re-covered and has a white instrument panel. The original Blue
Flame 235/155hp 6-cylinder engine has three side-draft Carter
carburetors and is couple to a Powerglide automatic transmission.
The engine and carburetors were rebuilt in 2006 and the
transmission was overhauled in 1995. The interior has been redone
with new seats, carpet, door panels, gauges, ashtrays and Wonder
Bar radio. Nothing has been done to the body. A new convertible top
and frame were added in 1998. It has always been stored in a
climate-controlled facility and has been driven 111 miles since the
completion of the interior.
