Vehicle Description
This Pro-Touring GTO, with correct 242 VIN, was body-off rotisserie
restored using added Judge graphics, and was completed
approximately five years ago with a painted frame and
undercarriage. The fresh rebuilt non-matching 400ci 8-cylinder
engine is linked to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission that
transfers power to a posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears.
Exhaust is handled by stainless Doug Thorley headers that flow
through MagnaFlow mufflers. The completely new interior is
semi-custom while retaining some factory flare, including a fully
finished trunk area. This GTO has all-new glass and bright kit,
rechromed factory bumper and a new Endura front nose. It comes
equipped with Hotchkis Pro-Touring suspension in the front and
rear, 4-wheel power disc brakes, custom Foose wheels and Cooker
retro Polyglas-appearing tires that are true radial construction.
It also has new wiring and brake lines, as well as a new 4-core
radiator. The Pioneer high-powered sound system was professionally
installed with custom kick panel speakers and trunk-mounted
amplifier and subwoofer complete with iPod integration.
