1979 Chevrolet Pickup 4WD
The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full-size pickup truck line from 1960 until 2000 in the United States. The first Chevrolet pickup truck was introduced in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. "C" indicated two-wheel drive and "K" indicated four-wheel drive.
This 1972 Chevrolet 4WD shortbed we have at Classic Vintage Exchange has been restored with new paint, interior, suspension and a rebuilt 350 cubic inc Small Block Chevrolet engine in its bay.
The 350 engine pulls great with a 4-speed manual, front and rear limited slip differentials, and a nice lift over good looking custom aluminum wheels and Hankook ATM off road tires.
it is painted in a tasteful light blue with white on the bottom as well as on the roof and white stripes down the middle of the cowl induction hood.
Our truck has great chrome trim and chrome front and rear bumpers, a painted truck bed, and Silverado trim emblems.
The raised look and stance is spot-on perfect as these trucks always look good with chunky raised letter tires over aluminum wheels. Note the twin exhaust exits and their angled exit just aft of the rear wheels, another ideally implemented detail.
The truck is fitted with a blue and white cloth bench seat interior but blue and the pholstery, carpets, door cards, dash pad, headliner and more were all replaced at the time of restoration.
The dash looks factory but has additional aftermarket gauges and all lights are said to be functional, and it has the 4WD and 4-speed shifter on the floor.
