Duesenberg (ACD) Club events and activitiesClassic Car Club of
America (CCCA) Full Classic
New additions to the Cord line for the 1937 812 models included an
optional supercharged engine, producing 190 hp, and the new Custom
sedan models, on a wheelbase extended by seven inches in the rear
compartment, with the rest of the body's lines subtly raised to
maintain Gordon Buehrig's superb proportions. First known with John
Elson of Ohio in 1970, the factory-supercharged Custom Beverly
offered here was acquired by the current owner's father from Mr.
Elson only a year later, and has been hidden away in their family
collection ever since. Overall well preserved with older paint and
upholstery, it will would require mechanical sorting before being
used on the road. It would be a wonderful basis for a future
"driver" for ACD Club activities, or as the best possible basis for
a concours-quality restoration. To view this car and others
