Vehicle Description
Great cruiser Chevelle convertible. Has air conditioning, power
steering and brakes. From a Chevelle collection in East
Tennessee.
EXTERIOR: Upfront the grill, trim, bumper and bumper guards look
new. The side trim is excellent, wheel well moldings are replaced.
Vent window chrome is mint. Chrome and trim in back looks like very
good original. Body is nice, the hood doors and trunk fit square
and flush. The bottom of the doors are very clean. Very good
looking paint job. Great looking set of new tires and wheels.
Radial redline BFG tires on new 15 inch rally wheels. Black
convertible top is very nice shape, no issues.
INTERIOR: Has bucket seats and a console. Over all it is in very
good shape. The upholstery, door panels, armrests, seatbacks, dash
pad are all very nice. Console and instrument area are also very
nice, has the stock radio. A Mark IV air conditioning system is
under the dash.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is solid metal with spatter finish paint. Has
original rubber mat and a jack and spare.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Everything looks proper- stock manifolds, carb,
air cleaner, valve covers. Has new cadium plated brake booster, new
master. I also noticed new power steering hose, the air
conditioning is updated with the new R134 freon. The motor has been
upgraded to something a little bigger, the engine code is CMJ for a
350.
UNDERSIDE: Wow, it actually has really dry, clean original metal.
Even the bottom of the quarters have factory spot welds. The inner
rockers are clean. I don't see any patches in the floors. The
exhaust, gas tank, rear springs are new. Upfront it's new- ball
joints, control arms and bushings, shocks, springs.
A Chevelle convertible with metal this clean is very desirable. It
is a great cruiser as is or a great platform to build a hot
rod!
