The exterior chrome and brightwork is gleaming as well as the side

engine that has been upgraded with dual four-barrel carburetors
emulating the Golden Commando option of 1958. Power is transferred
to the pavement via the optional Torque-Flite 3-Speed automatic
transmission with its unique dashboard-mounted push button
controls. There was more to the new Plymouth than just style.
Chrysler's introduced its new independent front suspension that
included a longitudinal torsion bar setup with ball-joint steering
- a first for a major American manufacturer. This Christine tribute
rides on factory steel wheels with full covers on Coker Classic
