1969 Fiat 500L - Excellent Restoration * Charming Microcar
Microcars have always had a huge following with their stellar
handling, spectacular fuel efficiency, and charming appearance. One
of the finest microcars to ever hit the road would have to be the
Fiat 500. It was an immediate success when launched, and went on to
be become an icon of the microcar movement. The Fiat 500L offered
here is an excellent example of this fine car and has been
beautifully restored in Fiat White. The restoration of this 500L is
clearly evident in the quality of the work performed in bringing it
back to factory specifications. The restoration started with a low
mileage and undamaged car and all its parts used were OEM. It
presents well cosmetically and looks like a factory showroom car.
The interior features a two-tone black and red theme and the
charming simplicity of the 500 is clearly evident when sitting
behind the wheel. Power comes from a 478.5cc twin cylinder engine
mated to a four-speed transmission and other amenities are
four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, black mirror, chrome bumpers,
folding sunroof, vent windows, and 12-inch wheels with new
Cinturato tires.
