Vehicle Description
2006 Audi S4 Avant Quattro
All-Wheel Drive, 6-Speed, Wagon. The ideal grocery getter for the
driving enthusiast. Oh, and don't forget the German-engineered
4.2L/340HP V8 monster under the hood. These cars are hard to come
by, especially with a manual gearbox. It is also a one-owner car
from Oregon with zero rust and has never been mechanically
modified. All service work is up to date through German Auto of
Grand Rapids, MI with the timing chain done at 150k miles back in
Oregon. New plugs, wheel bearings, and oil change just
performed.
This is an amazing vehicle to look at, sit in, and drive. Audi
stopped importing the S4 Avant to the states in 2007, which is why
you don't see many on the road. The Dolphin Gray body sloping to
the rear hatch is a beautiful thing. Premium leather trimmed Recaro
racing seats with alcantara inserts hug you in place. And all of
them are heated, rear seats too. Other features include Xenon
headlights, polished aluminum exterior trim, rear parking sensors,
sunroof, sport S4 steering wheel with controls, carbon fiber
interior trim, quad tip exhaust, Bose stereo, Navigation, rear
window shades, CD changer, and power everything. It also has both
carpet and rubber floor mats, spare tire, and emergency kit. The
only modifications from stock are the tinted windows and
black-painted wheels. Everything else is original.
340 horsepower at your toes in this mid-size wagon is a blast. The
V8 rumble from the exhaust is equally exhilarating. The car shifts
smooth, looks great doing it, and has enough room in the back to
haul whatever you need, fast. It has a squeaky clean CarFax report
and is now time for a new home. The car has no excuses, minus the
poorly designed alcantara inserts that have worn over time.
Regardless, you simply cannot find these cars with one owner. They
also don't offer the newer models stateside, and even if they did,
Audi no longer offers a manual transmission. Its a sad day and age
for stick shift lovers. But you get still can your thrills behind
the wheel of this S4 Avant. Be sure to check out all the photos and
