Introduced in 1979, the W126 chassis Mercedes-Benz S Class is one
of the most respected and loved models every produced by the famed
German automaker. Sold all the way until 1991, the W126 was a model
in luxury, safety, and style. The cars were available with a
dizzying number of engines as well as both long and short wheel
bases models. Some of the advanced features included dual front
airbags, ABS brakes, high strength construction, center brake
lights, topographical automatic transmission sensor, crumple zones
and powered seat. Over 818,000 W126 were made and many are still on
the road providing comfort and security to their owners.

for your consideration. Finished in Pearl Grey, this S Class is in
nice shape overall. The body is very straight and clean. There is
one small oxidation on the rear fender and the body has a bit of
clear coat loss on the hood and roof. Otherwise, the body is very
nice, with great chrome, stock lighting, and lower trim panels. The
car sits on excellent set of 8 hole light alloy wheels with newer
Michelin tires. The interior features luxurious full leather trim,
with powered seats up front. The interior is very nice with some
wear on the front seats and armrest. The rear is flawless and has
tons of space to spread out on. Being a top of the line Mercedes,
this car is not short on features and has power windows, power
locks, power seats, power sunroof, climate control, Becker audio
system, dual front airbags, and power antenna.
Powered by a smooth running 4.2L V8 mated to an automatic
transmission, this car has been with its current owner for the last
seven years and was purchased out of Tennessee. The original owner
took great care of the car and had it for over 20 years. It is
claimed that the engine was rebuilt in 2001 at 96k miles. Lots of
parts have been replaced over the years and the car still has its
original spare tire and tool kit as well as four keys.
