Vehicle Description
Very well preserved Beetle with a great color. Unbelievable amount
of documentation. I think every receipt going back to day 1 is in
the folder. Has 85,295 documented miles and ownership history. Same
woman has owned it the last 18 years. We have the original window
sticker, sales contract and odometer statement.
EXTERIOR: I think one of the biggest assets this car has is the
beautiful River Blue metallic color. Very attractive and rather
unique for this car. It is great survivor condition. I believe the
paint os original so it does have several nicks/chips but shines
and looks beautiful from a few feet away. Body is in excellent
condition. You can shut the doors with your pinky. Chrome around
the window frames, mirrors, headlight bezels, turn signal bezels
are excellent. Original bumpers have just slight wear. The black
convertible top is in mint condition, has electric rear window
defroster. Tires and wheels look new. Glass is excellent.
INTERIOR: The seats feel like they're new, the cushion is still
very firm. Upholstery is in excellent shape, door panels are mint.
The dash area, glovebox, steering wheel, visors, handles are
excellent. The white headliner has some tears. A couple of nice
upgrades includes a retro stereo and also a dual cup holder. The
convertible top boot is excellent.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is very clean and proper. Everything appears
to be where it's supposed to be. Has the complete jack, brand new
spare on a matching rim. Also there's a car cover.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Very clean and proper. The motor has been
completely rebuilt about 3 years ago. It is a fuel injected 1.6
liter.
UNDERSIDE: Rock solid pan, no patches or rust.
People really appreciate a good original survivor. We just bought a
shabby looking original Vette and were already offered 2 restored
vettes as trade. At auction I've noticed unrestored original cars
bringing big money. It is rare to find any car with as much
documentation as this Beetle has. It is a good honest car that has
been thouroughly serviced since day one, and we can prove it!
