THE BEGINNING

This 1930 Model A Ford was purchased in 1956 for $150, when I was a teenager. The car, with original Riley OVC, was stored for several decades in various locations in Montana and Washington.

THE REBUILD

During 2013-2014, the "A" was completely rebuilt and modernized. Gitner's Garage, Redmond, WA, restored and rebuilt the all-steel body, frame, and drive line. HandH Antiques, La Crescenta, CA, rebuilt and modernized the block, while Johnson Machine and Performance, Olympia, WA, completed the Riley head.

THE RESULT...

The coupe's exterior is Barcelona Blue with subtle, red pinstriping. The nostalgic interior, installed by Hot Rod Interiors by Glenn Kramer, Glendale, AZ. Master, 4-banger mechanic, Troy Jonas, keeps the car maintained.
