Wildly futuristic in the 1970s, the name Countach is Italian slang
for "good Lord!" or simply "wow" in polite terms, and this
exclamation aptly describes most car lovers' response on seeing the

the platform upon which Lamborghini celebrated its 25th
anniversary. The special edition featured more than 500 changes in

Manufactured in November of 1988 by Nuova Automobili Lamborghini
SpA at Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, the example offered here is one
of the limited Anniversary examples built, showing 33K kilometers
(20,500 miles) from new. The car presents very well, finished in
Red with Black and Red piped leather interior, carpets, and a Black
leather wrapped dash. Beautifully polished wheels compliment.
Equipped with the Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, five-speed
manual transmission, Girling ventilated disc brakes, power windows,
and power seats, this was easily the most advanced Countach ever
offered and the most desirable variant. In fact, it is widely
regarded as the best road-going Countach in terms of handling and
reliability as well. Overall cosmetics on the car show minimal wear
from delicate use, while all ID etched glass remains on the
vehicle.
