1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. 292 V-8 Engine Professionally
Rebuilt 4000 miles ago. Carburetor replaced by a state of the art
Edelbrock 500 CFM for reliability. Original points and condensor
replaced by a Pertronics electronic ignition system to help with
reliability. New Kelsey-Hayes Wire Wheels and Coker BF Goodrich
Radial Tires. New Soft top and Hardtop with all new
weatherstripping. New upholstery and carpeting inside. All new
suspension including front coil springs, rear leaf springs, and
four new shock absorbers. Fordamatic 3 speed transmission
professionally overhauled. New brake components including master
cylinder, wheel cylinders, and front and rear shoes, also brake
fluid replaced with DOT 5 Synthetic. Electric fuel pump installed
to eliminate vapor lock during hot weather. Electrical system
upgraded to 12 Volt including a new alternator.
