Vehicle Description
1966 Plymouth Barracuda! Award Winning!! :) Very Clean and
Gorgeous. Currently has a 318 motor and its original A904
transmission (automatic torqueflite) with a little over 104k miles
(will increases due to use). Tranny does have a little leak from
the speedometer cable. Haven't had the chance to measure it to
purchase correct one. Hood insulator, motor mounts, transmission
mounts, and exhaust manifold gaskets. Valve cover gaskets also
replaced (6/6/16). All bushings for the suspension are new as well
as the steering and direction joints. While replacing the exhaust
manifold gaskets, the exhaust valves where inspected and were
bright white and clean. Transmission shifts smoothly and
beautifully too! EXTREMELY RARE fan shroud for the radiator was
found and placed in! Cost me a very pretty penny. New mufflers
front to back with flow master installed. Motor has been cared for
and treated with love. HERES THE SWEET PART!!!! With the deal comes
a 1967 date codes 340 motor. Has J heads, 2.02 intake valves and
1.60 exhaust valves. Owner prior says if built it will run, I would
not take that risk personally and much rather have it rebuilt. It
has an original edelbrock six pack intake with carbs from a 1970
challenger 340 six pack. Carbs have been rebuilt and come with all
linkages and lines. Currently no air cleaner. 727 small block
transmission is also included in sale. Stamped numbers designate it
as a 1968 transmission. TRANSMISSION IN PHOTO IS NOT THE CORRECT
ONE. The one shown is a 1978 date coded tranny. Previous seller
gave me the wrong one but he was kind enough to let me switch it!
It needs rebuilt. Also a brand new torque converter for the 727 in
box as shown. If you know well, most (if not all) components from
the 318 will fit
