for purchase. The XJ6 is a luxury sedan that was produced by Jaguar
Cars from 1986 to 1994. Jaguar claims this is the last car that
company founder Sir William Lyons had contributed to during the
development. During development the generation pioneered
significant improvements to the way Jaguar designed, built, and
assembled cars. The result was a more efficient assembly process,
but also a weight saving and a stiffer structure. Greater attention
to panel gaps improved the drag factor while also improving the
fuel economy while lowering wind noise inside the cabin. This
generation is known for the smooth and quiet ride while the trim
opulence still delivers the classic hand-made Jaguar feel making
many call these the best Jaguar sedan ever built.
The car offered here is a two owner car that has with the current
owner for the last 15 years. The car comes dressed in Black
exterior paint over Camel Interior. This is a well maintained
example which at 95540 miles that remains very tidy in all areas.
The Camel leather interior shows some normal patina due to age and
usage, the dash is near perfect and the burl walnut fascia and
interior accents remain wonderful. The exterior benefitted from a
repaint 8 years ago and retains its original stainless steel trim.
