The Impala is a full size car first introduced by Chevrolet in 1958 and was Chevy’s most expensive passenger model through 1965. The fourth generation was released in 1965 and set a U.S. sales record for being the first model to sell in excess of 1 million units. The newly redesigned model featured a full width perimeter frame, a sharper angled windshield, reshaped vent windows and a redesigned full coil suspension. This particular example is equipped with the extremely reliable inline six cylinder engine, a 3 speed manual transmission and was optioned in Artesian Turquoise with an Aqua interior. It has been owned by the same person for the last 11 years who has taken incredible car of this classic as evidenced by its present condition. Ironically enough the day he rolled onto our lot it turned 65,065 miles and the odometer works.
