Hardtop. This GTO was built the first week of July in 1965 in
Pontiac, MI. It currently has a 1965 WH code 421 ci engine with the
#77 heads. The transmission is a 1965 Muncie M20 close ratio manual
4-speed with OEM '65 center console. The motor is equipped with
1965 OEM Tri power carburetors and intake manifold. The engine was
rebuilt in the Winter of '17-18. The engine has approximately 350
miles since rebuild. It is also equipped with HO exhaust manifolds
with Bad Landz electric remote controlled exhaust cutouts. The rear
is a Code correct OEM 3:23 posit-traction 10-bolt unit. The car is
also equipped with Power Steering and power front disc and rear
drum brakes. The car still has the original core support and
original 4 core radiator with metal fan shroud and under hood
insulation. The interior is original upholstery, door panels and
headliner. The carpet has been replaced. On the exterior the car
rolls on Rally II wheels with trim rings and center caps. Tires are
235/60R15 front and 255/60R15 rear. The Palmetto Green Paint with
hand done black and silver pinstripe. Is protected by a rare set of
OEM door edge guards. The seller is including a book documenting
restoration and history. A Car Cover and Bag are included, as well
as original jack. The Factory Air Conditioning is not installed and
