2014 Ford Mustang GT500. New for the 2013 model year, was a first
for Ford: a 200+ MPH Mustang. These GT500s compete with exotics 5
times the price and are as simple to maintain as your F150 or
Focus. Pop the hood to find a 5.8 Liter Supercharged V8 which
churns out an asphalt shredding 662 Horsepower. With all of this
power, in 5th gear, the car can achieve 202 MPH; if you're brave
enough to go there. To handle all of this power, it has a beefy
Tremec TR-6060 and a heavy duty dual disc cutch. To save weight,
rotating mass, and increase strength, the driveshaft is made of
carbon fiber. Handling was not forgotten on this powerful beast.
Bilstein shocks, and Goodyear Eagle Supercar G:2 tires keep the
machine attached to the road even in the tightest corners. Massive
Brembo brakes in all four corners bring everything to a halt
including 15" front rotors with 6 piston calipers. This particular
example, is almost like looking at a new one. With only 1,086 miles
on the odometer, it is hardly broken in. With black exterior and
black and red two tone interior, it looks fantastic, and is
