Vehicle Description
You already fell in love/lust with this 1969 Chevrolet C10 because
of its modern V8 pumping out 530+ horsepower. But take some time to
dig deeper into features like the great paint, custom A/C interior,
and six-speed stick... it proves that this restomod is turn-key
ready to turn heads.
This truck deserves a bold color like this Candy Apple Red. After
all, if they're going to take the time to get the bodywork so
straight, it deserves a bright clear coat shine. The paint is far
from the only custom touch. The cowl induction hood creates the
same aggressive presence as its '60s muscle car siblings; the
custom grille has a smoother finish; and the 17-inch Billet
Specialties alloys with lowered suspension give this an aggressive
profile that will make everyone take notice. All of these features
are just complementing the fundamental appeal of the C10. The
simplicity of these pickups is also their best styling feature,
with no gimmicks or add-ons, but rather a chiseled, masculine shape
that is undeniably American. It's this attitude that also tells you
it can still get to work. But really, you know the only thing this
truck is going to do is haul home awards.
Inside is a nice mix of performance and comfort. The bright red of
the exterior returns on the metal pieces, and now it's joined by a
muscle car friendly black on the carpeting, dash, and other trim.
You and your passenger have the individual comfort of high-back
cloth bucket seats. Your right hand will be instantly attracted to
the sports shifter, and your left one will love the grippy sports
steering wheel. Beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter gauges. You
have upgrades like an AM/FM stereo and provisions for air
conditioning. But really we know you're going to want to slide open
that back window as much as possible. Not only does it give you
old-school truck breezes, but also it lets you hear this beast
growl even louder.
The engine bay could win awards on its own for its presentation.
After all, the slick fender walls funnel your attention to quite a
tidy motor. And more than just look great, one look under the hood
tells you this pickup has some fire-breathing power. That's a
6.0-liter LQ9 V8. While this was developed to be a hardy motor to
power Cadillac SUVs, this one has been enhanced and fortified to be
much more beastly. The upgrades include Carrillo connecting rods,
JE pistons, Mahle rings, Clevite crank, GM LS3 heads, stainless
valves, GM hydraulic roller lifters, Comp Cams custom grind
camshaft, MSD 6LS ignition controller, Edelbrock single plane
manifold, and a Holley 710 CFM four-barrel carburetor. We have the
dyno sheet to prove this total package produces 535 horsepower, but
all you need to do is let them hear the thunder of the X-pipe side
exhaust to make them fear you. You have complete control over this
big power V8 thanks to a Tremec T56 transmission. Not only does it
have six speeds to dial in the ideal power, but also it's hardy
enough to handle up to 1,000 horsepower. These C10s are really
sought-after because of their trailing arm rear suspension, which
helps them hold the road better than most other vintage pickups.
This also has more driver-friendly features, such as power
steering, front disc brakes, and modern Falken tires at all four
corners.
This truck has been a labor of love for many years, with $20k
invested in just the driver train about 200 miles ago. So it's
really a terrific street machine that has been built exactly how
you want it. Don't let this opportunity slip away. Call now!
