350 GM crate engine, four speed manual transmission, rally wheels, side pipes, power steering, X-A/C, saddle leather interior, crank windows, 55,000 miles on dash (title is exempt for mileage), AM/FM/Cassette radio, HEI ignition, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Bergson power steering box, and much more.
We changed the oil and filter, rear end grease and additive, and checked and lubed the chassis. We also replaced the lower control arm bushings, lower ball joints, front shocks, rag joint, front coil springs, sway bar links, idler arm, master cylinder, tongue bushing, left outer U joint, alternator, fan clutch, upper radiator hose, spark plugs, fiberglass front bumper, and much more. We also rebuilt the carburetor.
1973 marked the end of the chrome bumper corvette era with rear
chrome bumpers replaced by a rubber bumper in 1974. The 1973 was a
one-year-only body design. GM also did away with the vacuum
operated wiper door this year in favor of a longer hood to hide the
wipers, and dropped the removable back window in favor of a glue-in
window.
