This freshly restored 67 that offers the best of old and new. The
body maintains the pure Stingray design without any childish add-on
flares or spoilers, and the interior, at first glance, looks like
it is straight out of 1967 but on closer inspection you will
realize that it has some tastefully done Dakota Digital gauges
which have a classic appearance but are completely modern
infunction. That means you can even read them in the dark!
With less than 500 miles since I complete restoration and upgrade
there are no blemishes in the paint or the interior. From all
practical standpoint this is a new car. The red leather is soft and
stunning with the brilliant silver paint. The red stinger on the
big block hood is just icing on the cake.
Lift the hood and you will find a fuel injected 383. This stroker
engine delivers fantastic torque and instant throttle response.
Gone are the days of having to adjust a carburetor and set points.
Even though this engine delivers a modern punch it is tastefully
dressed in just enough chrome pieces to look right at home in 1967.
All of that power is sent to the rear end the a new Tremec TKO 5
speed manual transmission from American Powertrain. This It is
silky smooth, yet designed to hold over 600 foot pounds of torque.
This custom TKO from American Powertrain maintains the original
shifter location, so, the interior and the console maintain a stock
appearance.
A peek through the perfectly proportioned 17 inch front wheels show
off massive 6-piston Baer brake calipers as well as slotted and
drilled rotors.Underneath the sexy beast is planted to the tarmac
with ridetech suspension and guides with rack and pinion power
steering.
