Vehicle Description
This 1975 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser spent most of its life in
Colorado used by 2 separate owners for their cabins and used
sparingly. That being said, the 79,704 miles are believed to be
original and we also think it has a-lot of its original paint. If
you see the truck in person you will tend to agree with our
assessment. This FJ is very clean and very solid and the original
floor are still in amazing condition. It was obviously well cared
for. The paint is still nice, but as you can see, there is some
fading and slight patina which is very cool. This Cruiser has the
rear ambulance doors, rear tire carrier, and a new warn 8,000 Pound
Winch which is very expensive.
The Interior is in great shape and has newly recovered seats and a
new fold and tumble rear seat which is very handy. It also has the
Roll Cage for Safety and the parts are included for the rear heat
if you want to hook up. (It looks like everything is there you need
but I am not 100% sure on that.)
The drivetrain is original and the engine is the 4.2L 2F Straight 6
which is bulletproof. 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This thing runs
and drives excellent and goes down the road great!! It recently had
a tune-up and the front axle rebuilt. Newer BFG 31 X 10.5 X 15
Tires with Spare. We do have a folder full of maintenance and parts
receipts that will go with this vehicle.
We pride ourselves in locating vehicles we would want in our own
personal collection. We hand pick each vehicle, drive it, and make
sure it is ready for you to enjoy! We drive what we sell so that we
can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle
runs and drives.
