Vehicle Description

All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance.  I can assist with financing and transport as needed.

There is a lot of fun to be had in this 1969 Impala Custom Coupe.  This model has a more distinguished look than the standard Impala with a truncated roofline and curved rear window.  It’s a wonderful design and a perfect accent to the crisp lines of the 1969 platform.  Now throw in this car’s beautiful two-tone paint and Cragar wheels and things really stand out.  Add a built 327ci motor and 4-speed transmission and you’ve got something a little different than the average Impala.

This is a very solid car from Missouri that has not been exposed to any snow or salt.  The body received a quality repaint with the lower section being done in brilliant blue while the top section received white.  The paint is nicely done and a great color combination, especially with the formal roofline of the Custom Coupe.  The moldings and bumpers give just the right amount of sparkle, while the 15” chrome wheels finish everything off.

The engine is the original 327ci that has been rebuilt with a few performance parts.  There is a larger camshaft, aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, HEI electronic ignition, and headers.  It has a very nice sound through the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers.  The transmission is a Muncie 4-speed that really adds to the driving experience; who doesn’t enjoy revving a small block through the gears?  The rear end is a 10-bolt setup with a factory 4-link suspension.  The car is also equipped with power steering for easy maneuvering at low speeds.

The turquoise interior is very spacious and features a front bench seat.  It has a nice look with woodgrain accents throughout.  It appears mostly stock except for a tachometer, two underdash gauges, and a Jensen aftermarket stereo.  The wipers, horn, heater/defroster, parking brake, and lights all work properly.  An owner’s manual is also included.  Not to be overlooked is this car’s HUGE trunk!  The spare tire, which takes up so much space in other trunks, looks completely lost in this one.

You will not go unnoticed in this Impala.  And while it looks and sounds great, it also offers the smooth ride of GM’s big B-body platform.  It makes for a super combination that still carries a reasonable price tag, especially when you look at the soaring prices of other cars from this era.
