The last Edsel convertible of 1960 essentially was barely built at
all. Just 76 were made, and genuine survivors have long been
considered the Holy Grail to Edsel enthusiasts, who seek them all
over the world. Naturally one eventually joined The Shrine of the
Holy Grille, where it has been lovingly preserved as the
centerpiece among its brethren. The car's history is known back to
1968, including former owners in Tennessee and Illinois. An older
cosmetic restoration in the lovely Regal Red, its interior has been
reupholstered in Red and Silver vinyl, but retains the
impossible-to-duplicate original embossed door panels. The car was
even born with the most powerful 352-cu. in. Express V-8, packing a
full 300 hp, which remains under the hood today. The result is an
Edsel of peerless rarity, that will immediately establish its new
owner in the forefront of enthusiasts of this distinctively
different motor car.To view this car and others currently consigned
