1965 Chevy Corvette Coupe Extremely rare 396 cu 425 hp all numbers
matching fully documented, protecto plate, original bill of sale,
and 22.000 original miles and best of all still on the original
1965 title. There are very few of these highly sought after
collector Corvettes that still retain there original drive trains.
After all this was the highest horsepower Corvette ever produced
for 1965. Dragstrips all over the country were witnessing quarter
mile times never seen by Corvettes in the past. But the owners of
these rocket ships wanted more so they stretched the limits. This
in turn caused many destroyed motors and drive line explosions,but
not this one. The original owner pampered and took extreme care of
his baby for his almost 40 year of ownership. The 2nd owner, Mr.
Ken Lingenfelter of the Lingenfelter Museum commissioned Warner
Myers, a top Ncrs judge and famous restorer of Corvettes, to verify
the correctness and originality of this special Vette. Warner then
completed a frame off restoration for Mr.Lingenfelter. Upon
completion, the car remained in the Lingenfelter Museum for the
over the next 10years until the 3rd owner Mr. A.c. purchased the
car. This special Corvette remained stored at the climate
controlled Museum until just recently
