Vehicle Description
Here is an unmolested Camaro Rally Sport. No aftermarket Edelbrock,
headers or stereos on this one. Shop mgr tells me it's one of the
nicest drivers we have had in years. He compared it to a very low
mile 442 we sold 2 years ago. Something about a car that hasn't
been monkeyed with and beat on. He says drive it with 1 finger!
EXTERIOR: The body is absolutely straight all the body gaps are
square and tight. The paint has a very polished, smooth shiny
finish. I just walked around the car and I do not see any bubbles,
blisters cracks, chips or touch-ups. Up front it has a painted nose
stripe, bumper guards and of course the Rally Sport hidden
headlights. The chrome and trim is bright and shiny. Windshield has
been replaced. In back it has a spoiler, bumper guards deluxe gas
cap and the Rally Sport has reverse lights under the bumper. Tail
light bezels have been replaced. Has 14 inch rally wheels with nice
trim. Door jambs are nice. Very nice black convertible top.
INTERIOR: Again, very tidy not abused. The dash area is excellent,
it even has the original AM radio, dash pad is mint, gauges are
crisp looking. Door panels, upholstery, carpet are very nice. Has
reproduction floormats. The only flaws I see are a few cracks in
the steering wheel and 1 small seem is split top of the seat
(easily repairable).
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is rare to see a Camaro motor compartment
left original and not jacked up with Edelbrock, chrome and MSD. The
#s match 327 has it's original double hump heads, 2 barrel carb,
exhaust manifolds, air cleaner etc. It has been cleaned up nicely.
Has GM hose clamps, fresh coat of Chevy orange and the bay is a
satin black. Has proper fan shroud, vacuum controls for headlights
etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT It is just clean metal with a nice spatter finish
paint.
UNDERSIDE: Very solid original metal. The bottom of motor looks
spotless. Has new starter. Misc bushings replaced. Has vin # match
trans. Still has single exhaust, you know this car has been adult
owned and not hot prodded!
Rare, unmolested Camaro. One of a few that still has 2 barrel and
single exhaust!
