Vehicle Description
With bright metallic paint, a strong V8 under the hood, and a
loaded A/C interior, this 1951 Chevrolet 3100 is exactly how you
want a custom classic truck to be, and it's ready to roll right
now!
A great pickup deserves a great story. This one has less than 130
miles on it since completing restoration earlier this year. Before
that it was in the hands of the original family doing chores like a
faithful pickup should. So after nearly seven decades as a
workhorse, there has been a huge investment to have this reborn as
a cool custom. Finished in a bold and modern Frost Blue, the clear
coat really highlight all the best sporty curves of the sheet
metal. That's reinforced further by the 15-inch Eagle alloys. Plus,
they expertly deleted the front bumper and created a custom rear
roll pan so this truck could now accommodate a mean street machine
stance. But they also didn't forget the vintage details. For
example, the iconic grille shines from investing in a mirror-like
chrome. While the bed is certainly glossier than new, they still
re-finished it with real wood in the proper pattern. So more than
just the additions, there's a fundamental greatness that comes from
a vintage Chevy pickup that retains its iconic silhouette.
Inside, the exterior blue returns, and now it's joined by a supple
black. The dash retains that cool Art Deco design, you'll also
quickly recognize plenty of upgrades. The custom bench seat is now
trimmed to provide individual comfort, and you even have cup
holders built right in. And modern R134a air conditioning makes
sure everyone is comfortable. But the best treats are reserved just
for the driver. You'll slip behind the grippy sports steering wheel
mounted on a chrome tilt column. Beyond that are a full set of
Omega Kustoms gauges that fit into the original dual pod
design.
Under the hood is fresh LT1 350 cubic-inch motor. Those dark valve
covers with bright red Chevrolet markings remind you this is a
powerhouse of a small block. Plus, it has aluminum heads, a
four-barrel carburetor, and shorty headers that feed the rumbling
dual exhaust - exiting just below the running boards. This has all
the right features to be a terrific cruiser. That includes an
aluminum radiator to keep everything running cool, a three-speed
automatic transmission, and the sharp feeling of rack & pinion
steering. Plus, the front suspension has received a major upgrade
with a Fat Man independent A-arm unit that also includes a thick
sway bar and slotted & vented front disc brakes.
Fresh, sharp, and a cool history - this is the custom Chevy 3100
that you've always wanted. But plenty of us have this dream, too,
so don't miss out. Call now!
