American Motors stepped into the 2-seater world from 1968 to 1970.
The AMC AMX would start a small cult following that is still active
today. In 1970, just over 4000 of these rare muscle cars were
built. Even fewer of these AMX's came with the 390 V8. A custom
exhaust has been added to take full advantage of the 390's power.
With 325 horsepower on tap and mated to a T-10 Warner 4-speed
manual transmission, this car could get sideways in a hurry. We
like to call that the fun factor. With all this go, the AMX needs a
little bit of whoa as well. This AMX is equipped with power brakes,
the fronts are disc brakes, so stopping is much easier in this rig.
This AMX has been treated to a custom paint job known as the Shadow
Mask Edition. The blacked-out hood really makes the gold paint pop!
The power blister hood with scoops and the blacked-out treatment
gives this AMX sinister look and lets everybody know this is a
force to be reckoned with. A custom aluminum grill finishes off the
exterior. Inside, new seat cover, gauge package and radio package
have been added to give this AMX a nice clean crisp look. Options
for this 1970 AMC AMX include; A/C, AM/FM Radio, CD player,
Cassette Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl
Interior, and Custom Wheels with Bias Ply tires. To see this car in
