Now available from CPR Classic is this immaculate 1973.5 911T finished in its factory original ivory paint over a brown leather interior. This example is of the most original long hood 911s we have ever sold. The car is completely numbers matching, original paint example that has been cared for to the highest standard its entire life.
Ordered new with a full leather interior, sunroof, factory air-conditioning, S suspension with alloy calipers, S trim and S gauges this is a beautifully optioned 911T with seldom seen options for a base model car. We first acquired the car seven years ago from its long time owner and placed it in our private collection where it has remained until being offered for sale.
Upon arrival we chose to remove the power-train and thoroughly inspect and clean everything. We decided to completely restore the car’s power-train to CPR’s highest level. This included shovel pinning the case, line bore, polishing of the crank, balancing the rods, all new bushings and bearings, precision overhaul of the heads, new MAHLE OEM pistons and cylinders, 930 tensioners and a new timing chain just to mention a portion of what work was completed. The gearbox was also completely overhauled and a new clutch and pressure plate were fitted.
We also chose to upgrade the car A/C system to R134 with all new lines and fittings as well as a deck lid mounted condenser. The suspension was also completely removed, restored and reinstalled on the car with all new powder coating, refinished plating and all new bushings.
We also installed a partial new interior including carpet, new leather and stuffing on the front seats. The car retains its original factory dash as well as its factory headliner. The car’s paint is completely original measuring 3-6.5 mils everywhere. The car has covered just over 90,000 documented miles in its lifetime, and shows as a nearly perfect original example
