Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this beautifully restored
1956 Ford Thunderbird. The 1956 Ford Thunderbird is one of those
designs that never goes out of style, and remains an
instantly-identifiable icon of the 50s. Beautifully styled,
comfortable, and with enough performance to keep almost any
gearhead happy, they are perhaps the best combination of styling
and performance from the 1950s. It can easily be said that the
first generation of Thunderbird was their finest. Between 1955 and
1957 the Thunderbird was a small 2 seat roadster which was
comparable to the Chevrolet Corvette. These cars could be had with
a 292 CI V8, or an optional 312 CID V8. This T-bird has the larger
312 as well as a Ford-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission, along
with new wiring, stainless exhaust, and an electric radiator fan.
The vivid red paint is stunning along with the red and white
interior. This Thunderbird has power brakes, power steering, and a
Town and Country AM radio. Stylings include round portholes in the
removable hardtop, wire wheels with spinners, Firestone whitewalls,
Continental kit, and fender skirts. This 1956 Ford Thunderbird for
sale is located in our Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom and can be seen
