Beautiful 1923 Ford Model T Speedster for sale. Originally a California car that briefly lived in the Northwest and then came back to Northern California over 20 years ago and has been beautifully restored and owned by a long-time Model T enthusiast. Over the years I have had many model T's in my inventory but this beautiful little Speedster is by far the most reliable, it starts right up and is ready to go!
This special Speedster was completely gone through and built to be better than ever. The stock engine has been rebuilt and features a high compression head, ball bearing fan, electronic ignition, and starter, fuel pressure regulator, new fuel pump along with a 19-gallon fuel tank. Along with the hand throttle, a cleverly fabricated throttle pedal has been added. It stops quickly with it's Rocky Mountain brakes and gets down the road keeping up with traffic thanks to its Ruckell rear-end with 3:1 gears. Running is smooth due to its Model A carburetor and it sounds great with its Model A exhaust system. Steering is tight and accurate via a Chevy II steering box. Adding to all of these fantastic mechanical upgrades are newer tires riding on painted steel wheels, shock absorbers and a reliable 12-volt electrical system with working head, stop and tail lights; electric tachometer, horn, battery shut off switch and a classic fat man steering wheel. The bigger seat makes longer drives much more comfortable than the original.
The car is finished in classic Washington blue and looks great. This is a terrific and special Model T for any enthusiast that wants a car they can just get in and tool around in.
