investment for anyone looking for a final year 308 Targa Roof
Ferrari! The Pininfarina-designed Ferrari 308 was a brilliantly
modeled style that combined details of earlier successes to create
an iconic shape easily recognizable buy all car enthusiasts today.
With a stellar wedge shape, tube chassis, transversely-mounted
2927cc V8 with dual overhead camshafts, 5-speed fully synchromesh
gate-shifted transaxle, 4-wheel independent suspension, 4-wheel
ventilated disc brakes, front & rear anti-sway bars, rack & pinion
steering, and limited slip differential, Ferrari put a potent
machine on the streets that was quite sexy, but one that would
endure an 11-year production run through 1985! Although, none equal
to the next, improvements year-to-year would make the latter
production units highly desirable. The carburetors were abandoned
in 1980 in lieu of the favored Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel Injection
system. By 1982, the valve train gained Quattrovalvole status to
support 32-valve technology (4-valves per cylinder) to improve much
needed horsepower & torque performance. Offered in both Berlinetta
(GTB) and Spyder(GTS) designs, the final year production 1985
Ferrari 308 Quattrovalve is one of the strongest investments in the
