1975 Triumph TR6 Show Car, Fully Restored, Excellent Condition Show Car, National Winner!

Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1975
Triumph TR6 which is in show ready condition and fully restored and
has won multiple car show awards at numerous National Triumph
events. This TR6 was purchased around 15 years ago by its
previous owner and driven around 30,000 miles over that time frame
mostly to British car shows. Furthest driven was from Ohio
to Colorado for a national Triumph event, but also driven to events
in North Carolina and PA. This TR6 has been fully restored to
place at National, Regional, and local British car show events, and
several awards are pictured above. This TR6 is very solid
with excellent gaps and lines and the frame is very solid and
detailed. This TR6 features show worthy excellent Dodge Viper blue
paint, an incredible restored interior, a strong running original
rebuilt 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, and numerous
receipts and service records. Also included is the British
Heritage certificate authenticating this TR6 and proving that the
engine is original to the car. This TR6 is finished in the
beautiful and desirable color combinations of Viper Blue exterior
over Black interior.
Exterior
The Dodge Viper Blue exterior is in terrific restored condition.
This TR6 has show worthy paint and is in excellent condition
and looks fresh in its base coat clear coat finish. This TR6
was painted around 15 years ago and still shows very well today and
has been the pride and joy of its previous owner and shows
accordingly. The paint is in tremendous overall condition
throughout and has an excellent shine and gloss. The paint
looks deep and is smooth to the touch and is very consistent from
panel to panel. There is no visible evidence of rust anywhere
on this car. The body shows no rust at all and no bubbling or
cracked paint. The underside is in great detailed shape
as evidenced by the included pictures. Both bumpers are in
excellent overall condition and were restored to look show worthy,
and have a great shine with no pitting. The BF Goodrich tires
have nearly full tread left and sized 205/65/16 and the 16" Konig
Rewind wheels are in like new condition and give this TR6 and
aggressive sporty appearance. The Dark Blue Cloth convertible
top is in excellent shape and really pops on this TR6. The
top cover is in great condition and was replaced. All weather
stripping and seals are in like new condition and most have been
replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with an original
style trunk mat, spare tire, and original jack tools. Both
doors have "Triplex" original glass and both are in excellent shape
and the windshield was recently replaced.
Interior
The Black interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition.
The seats are from a 1996 Mazda Miata with working Pioneer
speakers in the headrest with Italian Leather Miata Seat
Upholstery, black w silver inserts. They fully recline and
really hold you while cornering and are super comfortable and a
nice common upgrade. The black carpet is in great overall
condition with no major stains, rips, or holes and was
recently replaced. The door panels are in great condition and
both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash was
custom made by the previous owner out of a walnut tree which was on
his property. He has a wood shop and he cut, fitted, and
finished the wood dash per original spec. He also custom made
the gear shifter knob and both the turn signal lever end and light
stalk lever end. The quality is top notch and the parts are
truly one of a kind. The dash pad was replaced and is in
great condition. All interior and exterior lights and gauges
work as they should. The wipers works and the blower motor
works. This TR6 has an upgraded JVC digital CD player with
newer speakers. The stereo works excellently and sounds
great. This TR6 has working aftermarket cruise control that works
perfectly and was regularly used. The seat belts were
replaced recently and look new. This car has not been smoked
in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and
drives very well. It pulls strong and is real responsive for
a TR6. It rides tight and has no known rattles and is a
pleasure to drive. The engine and transmission are original
to the car with engine number CF37386UE and included Heritage
Certificate showing engine number. This TR6 has been driven
to numerous car shows over the last 15 years and has always
performed very well and has numerous awards for placing in such
shows. This TR6 drove from Ohio to Colorado and also drove to
PA and North Carolina to attend national Triumph car shows.
We have driven this TR6 numerous times around town and on the
highway and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides
tight, and is a true joy to drive. The clutch works well and
is very smooth and does not pop out of gear and is easy to shift.
Previous owners of this fantastic TR6 have kept meticulous
care of this car and the way it runs and drives is a testament to
that. In the video one can observe this car running and
driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles
and performs very well. This TR6 is an excellent driver that
feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes
have been recently serviced and do not pull and stop as they
should. The calipers, pads, and hoses are newer. Also,
the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the
photos.
