We are pleased to offer the cleanest and most original Fox Body
Mustang's we've ever had for sale. On May 5, 1988, our client
purchased this 1988 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Hatchback 5-Speed brand new
from Jack Keller Ford of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has owned it
ever since and it only has 30k original miles! The car remains all
original and untouched from the factory. We have all of the
original sales documents, all regular maintenance records, and even
the original owner identification card. The Fox Body Mustangs are
becoming increasingly collectible and this example is one of the
nicest we've seen, plus a one owner with low miles. You will be
hard pressed to find another one like it.
This Mustang came from the factory in Black (code 1C) with Red body
stripes over a Gray plaid cloth interior. The inside and outside
surfaces remain untouched and rust-free. The car is powered by
Ford's Legendary 5.0L (302ci) 22hp SFI High Output V8 mated to the
desirable 5-Speed Manual gearbox. Although the car is like a time
capsule, it remains a blast to drive. Starts, runs, drives, and
sounds amazing through the dual exhaust. The most service work was
performed at 29,821 miles with a new fuel pump, oil change, fuel
injectors, new battery, and air filter. The oil has been changed
throughout its entire life at 2,000 miles.
Other noteworthy features include a factory sunroof (yes, ordered
that way), rear spoiler, original radio, power locks, power lumbar
support, original Mustang floor mats, rear hatch shade, cruise
control, power steering, and power brakes. All of the body panels
still retain the original matching stamped VIN to prove the car has
never been in accident or had anything replaced. It also comes with
all the books, manuals, and even all the 5.0 Mustang Magazines our
clients collected since buying. The car has truly been loved and
its evident in how clean and well cared for it is.
