Vehicle Description
Here's the best of vintage and new. After all, a 1932 Ford 5-Window
Coupe with a powerful V8 is iconic. But when you can find one that
has modern luxuries and a build so fresh there's barely 600 miles
on it - that's when you know you found a hot rod that has it
all.
Not all fiberglass '32 Ford bodies are the same, and if you're
going for a look like this one, you need top quality. After all,
they shaved the door handles and nearly every piece of trim so
nothing gets in the way of the sleek presentation. In fact, take a
closer look - the only parts attached to the body are basically the
waterfall grille, polished side mirrors & wipers, and the
flush-mounted LED taillights. So you really have a modern and
distinct appearance on this classic hot rod. Of course, they also
got the vintage touches right with the large bright headlights,
full fenders, and the polished front suspension. And those 15-inch
Bonneville-style wheels with the large rear tires gives this a
terrific stance you want on any custom street machine.
Pop the remote door opener to reveal more of the blending of
vintage and new. It starts with leather bucket seats with plenty of
bolstering for all-day comfort. In-between is an armrest center
console with a cup holder. Plus, with the armrests on the custom
door panels, this is a great place to send some time. It even
includes amenities like power windows and cold R134a air
conditioning. The nicely integrated AM/FM/CD touchscreen stereo
controls everything from a sat nav to the backup camera. This is
also your gateway to a full subwoofer stereo system. As a true
driver's machine, you get grippy custom steering wheel, tilt
column, and a Lokar shifter. A true classic Ford, all of your
gauges are mounted prominently in the middle of the dash. But now
they have a cool blue digital glow.
Such low mileage means the engine bay is fresh and tidy. So
something this nice deserves to be on display for the world to see.
But while it has plenty of polish, there's a lot of substance
behind the shine. You're looking at a Ford 302 V8 that was bored to
347 cubic inches total. Plus, it has been enhanced and fortified
with a solid lift cam, fabricated valve covers, Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a growling dual
exhaust. This V8 power stays cool thanks to a Champion aluminum
radiator w/electric fan. All the power gets to the ground with a
stout TH350 three-speed automatic transmission that feeds a
limited-slip rear end running versatile 3.50 gears. Don't forget to
check out the undercarriage photos. There you'll spot more
freshness on this low-mileage build. Also, it shows you the strong
reinforced chassis, four-link rear w/adjustable coilovers, and the
four-wheel disc brakes. So it's everything you want for show and
go.
Complete with maintenance records, it's hard not to get excited
about such a fresh and custom build. So if you like making others
jealous, hurry up and grab this Ford.
