Incredible pro touring, magazine feature car. There is so much more
then meets the eye, although what does meet the eye is stunning!
The fit and finishes, stance, staggered wheels are awesome. The
owner is a known and established Mopar collector and builder.
Upgraded with top quality parts. Started with a clean and solid
Coronet 500, rare only 924 were made total. They never made a Super
Bee convertible.
MECHANICS:
MOTOR- 440 bored and stroked to 500 ci. 10.75:1 compression,
special ground roller cam, roller rockers, ported and milled
Edelbrock aluminum heads, billet MSD ignition and an aluminum
intake with 3 large 2 barrel Barry Grant Six Shooter carbs.
TRANS- TCI Super Street Fighter TorqueFlite auto with 2800 TCI
torque converter. Has Gear Vendors overdrive for low rpm highway
cruising.
REAR- Heavy duty 9 inch narrowed 3 inches. Has 3.73 posi gears.
BRAKES- All Wilwood custom 4 wheel disc. Has hydroboost and large
drilled and slotted rotors. It stops on a dime!
CHASSIS- Upfront a custom lightweight Alter-K-Tion cross member
replaced the original heavy k-member. Has tubular control arms with
adjustable coil over shocks. Rack & pinion steering. In back there
are Super Stock lead springs moved inboard for tire clearance. Has
sway bar.
WHEELS- Staggered size Budnick Ice; 18x10 in back, 17x7 in front.
The rears were custom made with 3.5" backspace to fit the wheel
wells. The rubber is Goodyear Eagle F1s.
OTHER: March serpentine pulley and belt system, billet brackets,
billet March power steering pump with braided stainless lines. It's
kept cool with aluminum water pump and radiator with dual electric
fans and overflow bottle.
EXTERIOR: Started with a very clean Coronet with clean metal, only
very minimal repairs needed. Body is laser straight and fits right.
Gorgeous! Has Super Bee C-stripes, scoops and spoiler. Paint is
like glass. Really smooth and shiney, even the jambs and engine
bay. Show quality chrome, stainless trim is polished like chrome.
New windshield and weatherstrips. Correct Mopar grain
convertible.
INTERIOR: Completely custom and very comfortable. Has genuine
leather upholstery with imported real ostrich inserts. Adjustable
bucket seats, custom console and gauges. Awesome entertainment
system. Has large DVD/GPS screen, touchscreen stereo with Pyle
speakers. Has Flaming River polished tilt column.
UNDERSIDE: Rock solid floors. Everything looks like it was properly
installed. Still very clean like it has not many miles on it. New
shocks, brake lines, gas tank etc. Has a fat exhaust with little
Flowmaster mufflers, you won't be sneaking in late with this
car.
This car is ready to tear up the streets or cruise the highway and
it will look great doing it!
