Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer a super clean
1974 Grand Prix Model J. There is a class of vehicle which is
becoming more and more difficult to find: original and unrestored.
With the popularity of resto-mods, or complete frame off
restorations, there are fewer and fewer survivors out there. This
particular 1974 Pontiac Grand Prix is an unrestored car with 54,986
original miles. The engine and trans are original and believed to
have never been out of the car. It has the 400 CID V8 and an
automatic which run and shift beautifully. The exterior is green
which is in surprising great shape for the age of the vehicle.
Needless to say, most mid 70s muscle cars have either been wrapped
around trees or rusted to pieces. It great to see such a
well-preserved piece of Pontiac history. Opening the door is like
stepping back in time. The green upholstery is in wonderful
condition as is the dash and steering wheel. This was a high line
vehicle in the 70s, so it's loaded with all the goodies: Air
Conditioning, AM/FM/Cassette, power steering, power brakes, and
even power windows! Whether you're a Pontiac collector, or just
entering the classic car hobby, this cream puff 1974 Grand Prix
Model J would be a great addition to any collection. You can see
this beauty in greater detail in our Chicago showroom or at
