Vehicle Description
To Be Auctioned Off No-Reserve Beginning on Sept. 19th. Estimate
$8,000 - $10,000.
This car was previously owned by Universal Studios Hollywood. It
was used in several movies including the opening scene of The Fate
of the Furious for the race in Cuba as well as Ant-man and the
Wasp. It was born and raised in California and is completely rust
free and straight. The mechanics are original with a few updates
like replacing the generator with an alternator. The interior has
been reupholstered and is very nice, the paint shows excellent with
a straight mirror finish but was not a full dismantle show paint
job. The chrome is original, it is not a lustrous as new but it is
not rusty or peeling. Taillights do have some pitting. Universal
Studios sold the car to their transportation coordinator who added
it to his 21 movie car collection. He dialed the car in to make it
a great driver. It starts right up and runs smoother than a Swiss
watch. Its a good looking example of '50s flare with some cool
movie history and at a price that won't leave you broke!
