Vehicle Description
We are pleased to present this multiple award winning 1969 Camaro
RS/SS Convertible with the original 396ci engine. Originally
restored in 1996 to be a show car by former Dallas and Atlanta NFL
player Ken Tippins it accumulated only 600 miles in its first three
years until it was purchased by the current owner in 1999. He
meticulously maintained the vehicle over the last 19 years and
drove it only 6,700 miles. Originally the paint was Olympic Gold
with a white top and midnight green interior. We are happy to say,
we like the black paint and the shine is excellent. The like new
black top and excellent black seats with Houndstooth cloth inlays
are a stunning improvement over the original color. The dash and
center console sport the RS package upgrades in the dash and on the
center console and all function perfectly. We are told the dealer
option package is called the "California" edition which includes
factory AC, fold down rear seat, power top and automatic
transmission. The factory transmission is still paired with the
original 396 engine with functioning electronic cowl induction. The
factory power windows and antenna both operate smoothly as one
would expect from this quality of vehicle. Other options include
power steering, Power front disc brakes, SS wheels and dealer
installed electric trunk release which is very rare. For modern
enjoyment, the factory radio has been replaced with a stock look
alike AM/FM radio with an auxiliary input cleverly hidden next to
the driver seat for ease of use without taking away from the
original look of the interior. This dual threat as an incredible
rag top cruiser and show stopper is everything one could ask for
from last production year of the iconic 1st generation Camaro. This
vehicle qualifies for a 90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can
arrange shipping to your location. If you have any questions,
