In 1955 Mercury introduced the Montclair series and here is a
beautiful example of the Montclair convertible! There were only a
little of 10k of these made in 1955 making this one very rare
Mercury! It has just become available to purchase and will make its
next owner one of few to own a car like this. It's a frame off
restoration that is in extremely nice shape and ready to be shown
or driven. This car has been kept stock and it's Persimmon paint
harkens back to the mid 50s and cruising to Elvis, Chuck Berry or
Bill Haley and the Comets! This classic is still powered by the
engine Mercury introduced in 1955, the 195hp Super-Torque V-8. This
engine had many advancements such as a "Super-Structure"
crank=shaft, mechanical overhead valve system, full pressure
lubrication, new 4-barrel carburetor and more. This V8 is paired
with the optional Merc-O-Matic Drive for smooth and easy carefree
shifting. Take a look at the pictures and video of this car and
you'll see how nice of shape this car is actually in. The paint is
as you would imagine it would look as this car sat on the showroom
floor in Mercury dealers showroom. The undercarriage of this car is
as nice and clean as the topside of this car. The interior is era
correct and also appears as it would of while sitting at the
Mercury dealer in 1955. The white convertible top was redone at the
time of restoration and is free of rips, tears and holes. The trunk
and engine compartment are both tidy and what you would expect with
a high end restoration. The bright work is very nice on this car
and has a great luster to it. These Montclair convertibles were
bringing $80k plus as little as 10 years ago. Take advantage of the
opportunity to own this one and give us a call at 507-386-1726 or
