Now five generations of F-series trucks had been built, this
generation was built from 1966 through 1972. It was built on the
same platform as the fourth generation, however was built with
sharper styling lines, larger cab and more engine options. Also
available were three trim levels changing names mid way through
production. This particular F100 has come directly out of Arizona
and is extremely clean for a largely original truck. This "Custom
Cab" is equipped with the highly sought after 390 cubic Inch engine
option that produces more than 250 HP. Another great advantage is
this truck has working and COLD air conditioning. This truck starts
at the snap of the key and is propelled down the road by the very
strong engine. This truck was originally equipped with a manual
transmission but was converted at some point to a automatic. I
would not hesitate to drive this non-leaking, non-smoking really
cool truck anywhere. The body on this truck is not free from
imperfections but like I said before is very clean for the
year.
