The SVT Mustang Cobra was produced by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team from 1993 – 2004. The SVT is a high performance version of the Mustang which is considered to be their top of the line model positioned above the GT and the Mach 1 models. Offered during the spring of 2002 the 2003 model came equipped with a supercharged 4.6 liter V8 rated at 390 hp and was code named the Terminator. Because of the increased horsepower numerous improvements were made to handle it such as cast iron block with stronger internals, a lightweight aluminum flywheel connected to a Tremec T-56 six speed transmission, a 3.55 rear gear with 31 spline half shafts as well as revised upper and lower control arms. This all helped in achieving a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds. Exterior differences include the new front bumper with integrated spoiler and front brake air ducts, a new rear bumper with black inserts and visually integrated exhaust pipes, a composite hood with dual functional air scoops, newly designed side scoops, body colored folding side view mirrors and side skirts that featured a smooth body line from the door to the bottom of the car. This particular example was optioned in Zinc Yellow and currently has 42,174 miles. It has been nicely upgraded with deep dish rear wheels that sport 315/40ZR17 Toyo Proxes TQ DOT approved drag radials, H&R Sport lowering springs and it has a Full Tilt Boogie complete rear IRS bushing kit which eliminates the notorious wheel hop and offers a much smoother ride than stock. It has also been upgraded with Division X 2.76 supercharger pulley with 4 idler set, a JLT cold air intake, a custom tune and it sounds just plain nasty with its Mac Pro chambered mid pipe. The car is in excellent condition and everything is in perfect working order. There are thousands in upgrades yet we have priced it as if it were bone stock.
