Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this awesome 1925 Ford T-Bucket
Roadster to its Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ!
Since the 1940s, hot rods have been a significant part of the
automotive world as they have led to improvements in safety and
performance as well as broaden the artistic minds of painters and
builders. From George Barris to Boyd Coddington, the world of hot
rods and their builders have had a positive influence on many! This
1925 Ford T-Bucket checks all the boxes and retains the nostalgia
factor that many collectors seek. Built by custom car legend Barry
Mazza, this hot rod not only scores in the looks department thanks
to beautiful candy red paint, it's elevated to over-the-top status
with its outrageous powerplant! In plain view is a 454 CID V8 that
rumbles with authority! This engine had been bored .030 over and
features an L-88 crank, rods and oil pump; 460 hp closed chamber
heads; TRW pistons; Crane Fireball Cam; Edelbrock Tunnel Ram;
two 660 Holley center-squirt carbs and a radical exhaust system
with Sanderson Sprint Car Headers. Transferring all this horsepower
to the chromed XKE Jaguar 4:11 rear end is a B&M 400 turbo
automatic transmission! Make your way around this amazing hotrod
and note the most obvious contrast on the car, American 12-spoke
18" wheels in the front and 16x13 Hailbrands wearing jumbo slicks
in the rear! The front end feature a 4" dropped tube axle with
spindles from a '54 Chevy along with friction shocks and torsion
bar providing for a smooth ride. Hop inside and wrap your hands
around the wheel which is linked to a reversed Corvair steering
box. There won't be a second without a smile as you are driving
this awesome car! Get ready for some fun with this fantastic Ford!
