credit it deserves. Upon introduction it was so wildly popular that
it created not only copy cats, but a whole new class of automobile.
The pony car was born and Detroit muscle had a new platform to tear
down the street in. While many of the muscle car lines have come
and go, the Mustang has never taken a break from burning rubber and
is still popular in production today.
The 65 Mustang offered here presents well in a coat of red over a
vinyl black interior. The car is powered by a 289 v8 paired with a
4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. The chrome
bumpers, trim and badging show well and are in good condition. This
Pony rides on 18 inch U.S. Mags chrome wheels. Highlights include
Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 4 BBL carburetor, chrome valve
covers and air cleaner, AutoMeter tachometer, Auto Gauge oil
