Vehicle Description
Pedigree Motorcars is proud to offer this beautiful 1976 Cadillac
Eldorado convertible. For detailed information contact Ken Baker at
561-866-1601. 1976 was a significant year in Automotive history. It
was supposed to be the last year that American convertibles were to
be produced. The only convertible made that year was the Cadillac
Eldorado. It was the last of the American convertibles. As such,
these cars were in very high demand as there would never be an
opportunity to buy one again. Many of these cars were bought by
collectors and rarely used. Today low mileage original Eldorado
convertibles are sought after by collectors. This example having
only 22,000 miles, is such a car. We sold this car last September
to a collector in Palm Springs, California. After enjoying the car
for the season and putting just over 1000 miles on it, he decided
to move on to another toy. When we receive the call informing us
that he would like to sell the car, we were thrilled. We are more
than happy to have this beautiful green Eldorado back in the
Pedigree stable. The photos shown here are the photos that we took
over a year ago. Once the car arrives, it will go through our
traditional process of a thorough inspection, service, detailed and
photographed. We will then post updated photos of the car. We are
happy to sell the car pending an inspection and updated
photographs. Painted in the beautiful Dunbarton Green with white
leather and a matching white top, this Eldorado is not only elegant
but very rare. It is in magnificent condition. The paint is
believed to be original and is quite stunning. The bumper fillers
have been replaced but they match up beautifully and are fitted
better than most that we have seen. Inside the white leather
interior is in beautiful condition. Everything about this interior
is impressive. There is no cracking on the dashboard nor any chips
or cracking in the steering wheel. The door panels are close to
perfect as are the leather seats and carpets. The seats even
maintain their full firmness and the leather is still soft and
supple. The interior of this Eldorado quite frankly, this is as
close to perfect as we've ever seen. The white convertible top has
been replaced and is beautiful. In our evaluation of this car, we
spent a day driving it. It starts up with zero effort and idles so
smoothly you barely feel the car running. It makes excellent smooth
power and the transmission shifts are barely perceptible. The
brakes are strong, driving this Eldorado is an absolute dream. It
is obvious that this Eldorado has been maintained to the highest
standards and lovingly taken care of. We have a copy of the
original window sticker, the factory options on it are: AM/FM
stereo with eight track tape player Door edge guards Tilt and
telescopic steering wheel Remote trunk lock with electronic pull
down Carpeted floor mats Trunk mat Twilight Sentinal headlight

Being very well equipped, in 1976 it had a window sticker of

Cadillac has everything that makes a combination for a great
collector car. It has a rarity, exclusivity, condition, and
documentation. These were excellent cars. They were well-built and
very reliable. A Cadillac from this generation can be driven on a
regular basis as well as being shown. It is a car to be proud of
and generates excitement every where it goes. When we drive this
car we are never at a stoplight without somebody asking us
questions. As these 1976 Eldorado converti...
