The Ferrari Daytona, officially designated the Ferrari 365 GTB/4, is a two-seat grand tourer produced by Ferrari from 1968 to 1973. Its large dramatic presence was an evolution in the sports car market for road cars. It was introduced at the Paris Auto Salon in 1968 to replace the 275 GTB/4 and featured the 275's Colombo V12 bored out to 4.4 L. in 1971 The 365 GTC/4 shared the same engine block as the 365 GTB/4 Daytona was  riding on the same chassis, wheelbase and suspension. Many changes were made to make it a more comfortable grand tourer than its two-seat predecessor and sibling while keeping true to the exciting Ferrari Performance the Italian car maker is known for.  In 1972, just a year after the launch of the GTC/4, a new 2+2 debuted at the Paris Motor Show: the 365 GT4 2+2. The name refers to the single cylinder displacement (365 cc), four overhead camshafts (GT4) and seat configuration (2+2). Most of the mechanicals, including the 4,390 cc (268 cu in) engine, were carried over from its predecessor. The V12 used six side-draft Weber 38 DCOE 59/60 carburetors and produced 340hp. The GT4 was replaced in 1976 by the nearly identical looking Ferrari 400 that vehicle had increased weight, 0-60 times and some were fitted with a Chevrolet TH400 Transmission.

Many people hold 1972-76 Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2’s in high regard and feel it is the last of the great vintage Grand Touring Ferraris. Sharing its platform with the fantastic and extremely desirable Daytona the GT4 2+2 offers ample performance, a spacious cabin with exceeding rare collectability. We have productions numbers at over 1200 for the Ferrari Daytona and some can be found valued at 1 Million dollars and above in a strong market, GTC/4’s are at just over 500 units and can valued at a half a million and above and even those are standard evaluations and not adapted to One-off Special Orders. The GTC4 2+2 has equally as rare production numbers and possess the same drivetrain but limited to just 524 built between 1972 and 1976.  Of all the comparables,  we find one an only one car to be fittingly special this vehicle!  chassis # 18371 the 1975 365 GT4 2+2 by Pavaesi. We have uncovered a very small handful of cars within this series having special attributes. Most those of which are long gone, not restored or not for sale and the one that is , I find is priced at 1 Million dollars.

This 1975 GT4 2+2 has undergone an extensive restoration in the past several years and now resides in San Diego, CA finished in its original Livery Fully Documented as a One off Special order by the King of Saudi Arabia it is exceptional to say the least.
