Vehicle Description
Over $47,000 invested making this showpiece. The truck was bought
brand new and with only two miles on it, it was taken completely
apart customized. I'm not going to lie, I've never been a big fan
of these trucks but this one has won me over. Impressive
workmanship and it was kept taste.
EXTERIOR: The body has been cleaned up of any extra emblems or trim
and even the door handles have been removed. They open with a
remote. The front bumper has been shaved smooth. Rear bumper is
removed and the lower pan is smooth. The metallic white paint is
like glass, you cant even feel the blue flames. Has a power lift
tonneau cover that sits down flush with the bed. The battery and
gas filler is relocated in the bed. Nice looking Billet specialty
15 inch wheels with bigger size tires in back.
INTERIOR: Still like new. Has custom made console with Locar
shifter, power window and tonneau switches. The dash has Dakota
Digital gauges and custom stereo. Tilt column has custom wheel.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: Oh My God is what anyone will say when you open
the hood. The motor is fully dressed in chrome parts. The firewall
has been smoothed and it has custom made side panels all painted
gloss. The wires and many components are hidden. It has a LT-1
motor that's bored and stroked to 383, it has 400 horsepower. Has
fuel injection system and headers. Air conditioning is polished.
Has a serpentine belt system with polished pulleys. Aluminum
radiator has twin electric pusher fans and even stainless steel
hoses. If it's not flashy enough there are underhood lights
too.
UNDERSIDE: Wow. It is far better then I expected to see. The frame
and chassis was ground smooth and powdercoated silver. The under
body is gloss white, not yellowed, not peeling. Up front is custom
suspension with tubular control arms, coil over shocks and rack &
pinion steering. In back it has a Ford 9 inch with 3.73 gears, 4
link suspension and coil over shocks. The fuel tank is polished
like a mirror. All the lines are neatly run. Dual exhaust is
stainless. Bottom of motor is spotless. Trans is a 4L60 electric
shift overdrive. In case the battery dies or you leave the door
remote in the truck there is external batrery terminals and cut off
switch as well as a door popper underneath. Has disc brakes at all
four corners.
This was partially built by Duane Mayer of Boyd Coddington's shop.
It has been an ongoing build keeping it current. Includes a stack
of documents. You can imagine how fast it is, little truck with
that motor is crazy. Here is your chance to have a highly
competitive show vehicle at a fraction of what the other guys will
have invested!
