Offered for sale is a 1965 Short Wheel Base Chevy Pickup. This is a
frame off, over the top, restoration done by the previous owner who
is a paint and body man by trade. He owned this truck since he was
about 15 years old and now he is in his forties. He started by
using the best parts from 3 different 1965 pickup's. The paint fit
and finish is over the top. The engine is a Ram Jet 502; new from
G.M. Transmission is a 4L85-E Overdrive, rear end is a 12 Bolt GM
Posi. The pulley system is a polished March. This truck is equipped
with: Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, A.C., Tilt wheel, Dolphin
Custom Gauges, Leather seat, Leather covered sun visors, and
Leather door panels. The windows are powered; carpet is short pile,
same as a new Vette. Steering wheel is a comfort grip; pedals
appear to be Billet Specialties. The bed is oak and the bed stripes
are polished stainless with polished button headed Allen head
bolts. The truck has a new gas tank moved to the rear of the truck,
also polished stainless with custom filler on rear drivers fender
of truck, grille bumpers front and rear are chrome as well as
wipers and all emblems. Headers are stainless Sanderson Mufflers
are Magna flow. Wheels and tires are Toyo Proxes 4 P255 45 Z-R20'S
Front and Rear with polished Rocket Racing wheels. The new
drivetrain and Pulley system cost over $22,000 alone. This truck is
just finished and new in the box with only test miles on it. Call
