We have for you in our Redmond showroom is a Mercury Monterey 2
door hard top 1956 . This is Old school hot rod with about a 25
year old restoration. Powered with a 302 HO V-8 and C4 automatic
transmission. There was a restoration done years back. This classic
has been in a garage for most of it's life. The V-8 motor always
fires right up and runs and drives flawlessly, and it sounds superb
with the straight pipe exhaust, not to loud and a very healthy
rumble. The flames and pin striping are pretty cool as well. The
upholstery was done around the same time as the paint and is still
in outstandingly great shape. So if you are considering owning a
very cool drive-able hot rod to go to the car shows, or just for a
great getaway weekend road trip, this is one reliable classic that
will be make the trip more enjoyable than our run of the mill cars
we drive every day. I personally looked this car over ,inside and
underneath have found no rust issues anywhere. Aside from the
normal surface rust and minor blisters ( very small amount) on the
