Vehicle Description
This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 isn't just incredible to look at
and sound amazing with the turn of the key, this '65 Chevelle has a
ton of new components and features a 4-speed to enjoy slamming
through the gears. If you are looking for a car to enjoy that isn't
your typical run of the mill '67 or '70 Chevelle. This is it!
This 2-door post car, has the perfect mix of preservation and
restoration. The look starts with a very straight body that has
great gaps everywhere. The body was then covered with a gorgeous
shade of aqua blue that is a refreshing change from all the red and
black Chevelles you typically see. The paint is done very well, no
bubbles to be found anywhere and the 15" american racing wheels
finishes off the old-school look. You'll find new chrome throughout
even down to the driver's side rear view mirror, new gaskets for
the new glass and new tires wrapping the 15" wheels.
Inside the new theme continues. Right away you'll see the gorgeous
black bench seat that looks like the seat cover was put on there
yesterday. The hurst shifter is brand new as is the wood grained
steering wheel that is proudly wearing the chevy emblem in the
center. The instrument panel features all new chrome and the
auxillary gauges are a nice touch under to know what is happening
in the V8 engine. Ultimately, there's nothing bad to say about this
interior. It shows extremely well throughout.
Pop the engine bay and you'll find a correct 327ci V8 that has been
upgraded with a Holley 4-bbl with an electric choke, Weiand
aluminum intake, and a HEI distributor that ensures easy startups
every time you turn the key. Thanks to the HC Suffix Code and the
3858180 casting number we know that the engine dates to '65 and
very well could be original to the car. Mated to the small block is
a 4-speed Muncie that is a blast to drive. Look closer in the
engine bay and underneath and you'll see new upper and lower
control arms, new sway bar, new front disc brakes, new flowmaster
exhaust, new fuel tank, new shocks, Power brakes and Power
steering.
All these new components, a killer look and most importantly that's
ready to run today is an impressive find. But you're not the only
one who likes a good value, so call today!
